We are April and Tony, natives of North Carolina who have a deep passion for God, family and traveling. We are married with 2 amazing children, who also love exploring the world through the places we are able to take them.
We absolutely love hosting guests at all of our escapes and delight in hearing their wonderful stories and cherished memories made at our places.

Our History
Shipwatch Escape
After recommended by a friend and falling in love with the picturesque city of Southport, NC, we decided to take a huge risk for our family and purchase a condo that was new construction so we are able to visit the adorable town as much as possible.
Escape To The Peaks
After hearing the amazing stories of guests at Shipwatch Escape we fell in love with hosting travelers from all over the world. We grew up with a love of the mountains and our family had been to the area many times, so after a stay at this house, we immediately decided to take another huge step for our family and purchase our dream mountain home.
Harbor Hideaway
After visiting Shipwatch Escape and hearing all of the wonderful stories from our amazing guests, April's sister decided to purchase a condo in the new building in the Shipwatch Escape complex. She was so thrilled with how happy our guests were at our condo that she asked us to manage her condo for her as well.
Coming Soon - Alpine Onyx Escape
We are in the process of building a 30 foot geodesic dome home in Newland, NC on the property next door to Escape To The Peaks. This will be a luxury glamping experience, with all the expected modern amenities (indoor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, Wi-Fi, kitchen, king sized bed, shower, etc.) designed for honeymooners and couples who love nature as much as we do.
