Welcome to AACE Escapes. By accessing or using our website for booking short-term rentals, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms”). Please read these Terms carefully before making a booking. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our website.
Booking and Payment
1.1 Booking Process
- All bookings must be made through our website unless otherwise discussed.
- You must provide accurate and complete information when making a booking.
- A booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation email from us.
1.2 Payment
- A deposit payment must be made in full at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.
- We accept direct bank transfers, PayPal and credit cards through Stripe.
- Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed bookings will not be affected by such changes.
Cancellations and Refunds
2.1 Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be made via the specifications on our FAQ page, otherwise any possible refund will be forfeited.
2.2 Refunds
- Refunds will be processed within 7 business days of the cancellation.
- Refunds will be made using the original payment method.
Check-in and Check-out
3.1 Check-in
- Check-in time is 3:00 PM for properties in Southport, NC and 4:00 PM for properties in Newland, NC unless otherwise arranged.
3.2 Check-out
- Check-out time is 10:00 AM unless otherwise arranged.
- Late check-outs will incur additional charges.
Use of Property
4.1 General Use
- The rental property must be used for lawful purposes only.
- You must not cause any damage to the property or disturb neighbors.
4.2 Occupancy Limits
- The maximum number of occupants is listed on each individual rental page.
- Exceeding the occupancy limit may result in additional charges or termination of the booking.
Responsibilities
5.1 Guest Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the conduct of all occupants and guests during your stay.
- You must comply with all house rules and guidelines provided at the property.
5.2 Liability
- We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to you or your belongings during your stay.
- You agree to indemnify us against any claims arising from your use of the property.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our website constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the local jurisdiction. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of these local jurisdictions.
